1 適用範囲
この規格は，JIS A 8308に規定する土工機械の，電磁両立性（EMC）を評価する試験方法及び許容限度について規定する。
この規格では，次の電磁障害現象を評価する。
− 広帯域電磁障害及び狭帯域電磁障害
− 電磁界イミュニティ試験
− 電気・電子サブアセンブリの広帯域及び狭帯域電磁障害
− 電気・電子サブアセンブリの電磁界イミュニティ試験
− 静電気放電 − 過渡電気伝導
注記 この規格の対応国際規格及びその対応の程度を表す記号を，次に示す。
ISO 13766:2006，Earth-moving machinery−Electromagnetic compatibility (IDT) なお，対応の程度を表す記号“IDT”は，ISO/IEC Guide 21-1に基づき，“一致している”ことを示す。

3 用語及び定義
この規格で用いる主な用語及び定義は，次による。
3.1 電磁両立性，EMC（electromagnetic compatibility）
土工機械が存在する環境において，許容できないような電磁妨害をいかなるものに対しても与えず，かつ，電磁環境において満足に機能するための土工機械，構成部品，電気・電子系又は電子サブアセンブリの能力。

注記2 電磁両立性は，電磁的両立性，電磁環境両立性，又は電磁環境適合性とも呼ばれ，機器が動作することが，干渉源となる電磁妨害を生じて他の機器の動作に影響を与えるようなレベルとならないこと，また，他の電気機器その他によって生じる放射電磁波などによって機器の動作を阻害されない耐性をもつことの，双方向の観点からの機器の性能であり，機器から外部に影響を与えるレベルに関してはエミッション（3.7及び3.8），外部の電磁環境に対する機器の耐性は電磁的イミュニティ（3.3）として評価される。
