1. 適用範囲
1.1 この規格は，資料(1)の配布，交換及び保存を目的として使用する16 mm及び35 mm銀-ゼラチンマイクロフィルム（以下，フィルムという。）の撮影方法について規定する。
1.2 この規格は，撮影におけるマイクロ像の配置及び検索コード付けについて，また，識別，分類，試験などの標板類の用い方，画像の品質などの基本要件について規定する。
注(1) 資料は，文書，図面などの総称として用いる（JIS Z 6000の01.04参照）。 備考 この規格の対応国際規格を，次に示す。 なお，対応の程度を表す記号は，ISO/IEC Guide 21に基づき，IDT（一致している），MOD（修正している），NEQ（同等でない）とする。

4. 被写資料の準備 被写資料の準備は，次による。
a) ファイルしてある文書は，文書のとじ，傷み具合，文字の可読性，ページ付け，標題類及び挿入物を調査し，適切な措置を講じるのがよい。
b) 図面は撮影順に整え，折目，しわなどを延ばし，附属書2の2.に基づいて準備する。
5. 撮影方法
5.1 使用フィルム 使用するフィルムは，ISO 6148及びISO 18906に適合するものとする。 5
.2 マイクロ像の配置及び検索コード
5.2.1 マイクロ像の配置 マイクロ像の配置は，次に示すシンプレックス，デュオ又はデュープレックスのいずれかによる規則的なページ付け及び向きによる（図1〜3参照）。図1〜3におけるマイクロ像の配置に関する寸法を，表1に示す。 シンプレックスは，平床式及び輪転式カメラのいずれでも撮影できるが，デュオ又はデュープレックスは16 mm輪転式カメラで撮影する。
