1.Scope
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the aluminium alloy screens,hereinafter referred to as the “screens”, to be attached to aluminium alloy window sashes which are corresponding to sliding in classification according toopening and closing methods，hereinafter referred to as the “sashes” , mainlyamong the aluminium alloy sashes specified in JIs A 4706.
Remark:The units and numerical values given in { } in this standard are in accordance with the International system of Units (SI),and are appended for reference.
2.Types and Symbols
The types and symbols of the screens shall be in accordance with (1) and (2).
(1)Classification according to methods of use shall be as given in Table 1 and Attached Figs. 1 to 5.
(2)Classification according to construction shall be as given in Table 2.
3.Designation
The screens shall be designated in accordance with the following order:
