1.Scope
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the high purity nitrogen for industrial use，hereinafter referred to as the “nitrogen” , that is filled in a high-pressure gas container under such state as liquefied nitrogen or compressed nitrogen.
2.Classification
Nitrogen shall be classified into two grades of Grade 1 and Grade 2 accordingto quality.
3.Quality
The quality of nitrogen when it is tested in accordance with the specificationof 4. shali conform to the requirements specified in following Table;
4.Testing Method
4.1Generals
The generals common to tests shall conform to JIS K 0050.
4.2Calibration of Analysis ApparatusThe calibration of analysis apparatusshall conform to JIS K 0055 and toJIS K 0226.
4.3Preparation of SampleNitrogen gas shall be sampled which is reducedto atmospheric pressure by means of following methods:
(1) Liquefied_Nitrogen Liquefied nitrogen shall be completely gasified through an evaporator or others and made at room temperature.
(2) Compressed NitrogenCompressed nitrogen shall be reduced to normalpressure and made at room temperature.
