1. 適用範囲
1.1 この規格は， 繊維強化プラスチックの面内せん断弾性率（ G 12 ）を標準試験片を用いて求める方法（ 平 板ねじり 法） について規定する。 なお， せん断弾性率が方向に関係しない等方性材料にも適用できる。
1.2 この方法は， 面内せん断弾性率を求めるためのものであり ， 面内せん断強さを求めるためのもので はない。
1.3 この方法は， 熱硬化性又は熱可塑性の樹脂をマトリ ックスとした繊維強化プラスチックに適用する。
備考1. この方法は， 非強化高分子材料及び他の材料（ 例： 金属， セラミック及び金属， 又はセラミ ックをマトリ ックスとした複合材料） にも適用できる。 2. この規格の対応国際規格を， 次に示す。
なお， 対応の程度を表す記号は， ISO/IEC Guide 21 に基づき， IDT（ 一致している）， MOD （ 修正している）， NEQ（ 同等でない） とする。
